Command and conquer Tiberium Wars was released on March 2007, from Electronic Arts (EA). This is a sequel of C & C: Tiberium sun. This game is a real-time strategy game quite similar to the Red alert series
The Tiberium sun was released in 1999. This new game includes new features and tweaks to increase the pace of play, the core fundamentals remain strikingly similar to previous games in the C&C Tiberium series. Players looking for new units from the Tiberium sun aren't going to find it here, but they will find plenty of fun.
The Tiberium wars takes place when the Brotherhood of Nod launches an attack to the Global Defense Initiative and ending a 17 year silence. Due to the power and mite of the NOD, GDI forces lay weak but they slowly re-arms battle to defeat the NOD forces
In this games atmosphere while Global Defense initiative (GDI) and Brotherhood of Nod (Nod) are still battling it out, they have to contend with a new alien Scrin faction (Extra Terrestrial Race). These forces have a large presence in the game though their personality isn't as strongly developed as the GDI or Nod. Along with the large campaigns for Nod and GDI, you'll get the chance to play a bonus four mission Scrin campaign after completing the other two.
In the campaign structure, Locations range across globe on three different types of terrain. Missions themselves usually involve either base defense or destruction of one kind or another. While most missions were fairly predictable, creativity wasn't totally absent, especially in the Nod campaign where missions were designed to highlight their stealth capabilities. There's also a good variety of secondary missions on every map granting plenty of game play objectives.
Unlike the red alert series, this game keeps the players in constant stress without relief of safety in fortification. While in skirmish or in campaign play, if the player gives time for opponents or relaxes after base defenses, then it would lead in grave consequences, because the tactics and of opponents will change and they will tech up in the best offense possible.
Like the newly released Red alert 3, the Tiberium wars also have their share of movie and TV actors. Actors Josh Holloway (Lost), Billy Dee Williams (Star wars 5), and Michael Ironside (starship troopers) will be seen in movie scenes.
